The Death of Rasputin is a debaucherous satire which unfolds as a party and brings to life the espionage and mysticism surrounding Rasputin and the Romanovs at the twilight of their rule. Our original script is a tour-de-force in which each character’s egomaniacal grasp for power leads to their downfall. The story features heavy dialogue, contemporary dance, slavic dancing and audience participation. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in acting and dance, and a passion for devising new work. Experience in playing musical instruments and singing is a plus. Some roles may require partial nudity.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Set Designer with experience in designing immersive environments specifically for children’s entertainment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize, design, and implement sets that captivate and engage young audiences. You will help create environments that are not only visually compelling but also interactive and child-friendly, allowing kids to explore and interact within a world that feels both magical and safe.

Please note — this position will require the right candidate to relocate to South Korea for up to 6 months from January 2025 through to July 2025. Initial pre-production work will be held in Woolwich, London.
Working alongside Punchdrunk’s Lighting Designer and Associate, together they’ll advise, oversee and deliver Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More to a multistory building in the heart of Seoul. The Lighting Consultant will collaborate closely with the Korean team, taking the lead in advising on layout, system setups, delivery schedules and hands on knowledge to the local team on how best to install and deliver the show. They will need to be creative thinkers bringing custom solutions and advice to the requirement of working in a non-traditional theatrical environment.
They will provide expert guidance on the delivery of the technical setup, overseeing the installation of power systems, show control and ensuring all electrical components are considered whilst working across departments with the sound and production teams to assist in a smooth running setup. Working with the challenges of the environment they’ll work closely with the design and Korean team to advise on the best practice to deliver the show’s system.

The Company Intern will act as a first point of contact for PDE guests, suppliers and couriers; arranging company-wide meetings, events, travel, and being involved in working groups. The Intern will also be involved with HR and recruitment, data management and general management of the venue.
Alongside these administrative and logistical tasks, the intern will assist PDE producers with delivering work for schools and other audiences.
This role is part-funded by the Mo Siewcharran Memorial Fund which support internships for young talent from ethnicities that are under-represented in the theatre, publishing and music industries. This opportunity is open to Black, Asian and ethnically diverse candidates.

Looking for: immersive media projects 30 minutes duration that can be made within € 75,000 and completed for exhibition at the Venice International Film Festival in 2025
Open to: international director and producer teams

We are looking for 12 immersive international concepts, among these 2 are Italian, of up to 30 minutes duration that can be made within € 75,000 and completed for exhibition at the Venice International Film Festival in 2025. It is essential that the projects submitted can only be realized using immersive technologies.
The Call is open from 2nd September to 6th November 2024 (23:59 CET) to teams of director and producers from all over the world, both at their first, second or third immersive project.
There is no age limit and no participation fee. All participants have to cover their own travel costs for the workshops and the events they are invited to attend.
The selected teams will sign an agreement with La Biennale that assures their presence throughout the whole Biennale College Cinema — Immersive process. Please read the programme description and FAQ-immersive page, before completing the application.
