At Catalyst for Change, we believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. We want to support you in serving students through programs of study that are welcoming, accessible and representative of our society!
We all have a role to play in advancing social justice and believe a good starting point is to destabilize the bias that supports systemic racism. With stereotypes come expectations, and emotions fuel those expectations to escalate conflict and inhibit resolution.
We are offering 2 Catalyst For Change Grants of $5k each to educators who wish to introduce or deepen a program of study that embraces diversity and amplifies empowered student voices to share their OWN stories globally — thereby destabilizing stereotypes (example programs might include vlogging, podcasting, music, music production, songwriting, creative writing, journalism, and other platforms that elevate voices).
