We are currently seeking creative, playful performers with interest or experience in immersive, improvisational or site-specific work.
We’d love to have our ensemble made up of those that know and love immersive theatre, delight in guest interaction, and are ready to celebrate Halloween in a whole new way.

Hiring QLab techs for an immersive binaural audio experience with Darkfield at The Crossing at East Cut near Salesforce Park. Tech will be running an automated QLab show inside of a shipping container and monitoring audience members via CCTV. Tech will be in charge of opening and closing the show and ensuring functionality of all elements to report out if any major repairs need to be made or supplies restocked. Will be in charge of small cosmetic fixes as needed during a show day like patching light leaks or restapling curtains.
While not operating the show, the tech may need to assist front-of-house staff with guest management.
Required experience:
- Use of Qlab for audio and lighting queues
- Troubleshooting Audio and DMX issues
- Able to move / Lift 50 lbs.
Targeted start date is the first week of September
Show initially runs Wednesday to Sunday with shifts from roughly 3–10pm. Hours and days subject to change. Initial run is scheduled for 3 months with possibility of extension. More details upon job offer.
Special requirements: Control booth is a small dark space, so tech should be comfortable in enclosed spaces.

Hiring Front of House staff for an immersive binaural audio experience with Darkfield at The Crossing at East Cut near Salesforce Park. The show takes place within a repurposed shipping container. Staff will be responsible for checking in audience members, managing a line outside the experience, and loading and unloading audience members with a memorized spiel. Staff will also assist the show tech with opening and closing procedures as needed.
Required experience:
- Prior front of house or customer service work
- Familiarity with using and troubleshooting online ticketing platforms
Targeted start date is the first week of September
Show initially runs Wednesday to Sunday with shifts from roughly 3–10pm. Hours and days subject to change. Initial run is scheduled for 3 months with possibility of extension. More details upon job offer.
Rate is $ 25–30/hr BOE, Paid on timecard
Special requirements: FOH staff will primarily be working outdoors outside of the shipping container.

We are looking to hire advanced-level, curious, creative Unity developers to be responsible for the Unity software development for a virtual reality performance experience, Dream Machine. Dream Machine is an ambitious leap forward into the future of entertainment, art, and experience. It combines multiple art forms, media, and disciplines to offer a world conceived by Nona Hendryx, in which experiences, including performances, games, and stories, happen. We use Unity as the engine for an experience that is not a game, but incorporates game elements.
The project team works on a cutting-edge audio-based VR environment for music in a Massively Multiplayer Online context. You can expect to work on projects with applications such as, but not limited to, animating rigged 3D avatars, networking 3D objects, interactive audio, developing new gameplay mechanics, etc. If you are excited to create an elegant modern VR performance project with a strong focus on audio, join us!
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in Unity Development technologies, superior communication skills, strong commitment to detail, and excellent C# coding skills. They will be proficient in transforming design concepts into functional components and enjoy working collaboratively with diverse individuals and interdisciplinary teams.
