This is a mostly true history of telecommunications, universal and personal, with which I’ve always been a little obsessed.

Written in this moment where we are now: a moment of fragility and connection and distance. It’s a directory of stories and games and conversations. And a magic trick.

You’ll need: A device with a front facing camera and/or microphone, Zoom, and an internet browser. A sheet of paper and a pen (ideally a marker pen). Your choice of drink for the interval: hot or cold, still or sparkling. Your own telephone.
