Experience theatre up close and personal this summer throughout Salt Lake City at MITE Fest. Produced by SLC theatre company, Sackerson, the Micro-Immersive Theatre/Experience Festival is the first of its kind here in Utah.

What is Micro-Immersive Theatre? It’s intentionally small audiences experiencing the stories at close range. Close enough to see, hear, and feel details you might normally miss in a traditional theatre performance… so close that it doesn’t always feel like a performance, but more like living inside a different reality. It’s a thrilling format, and with this festival, we’re excited to create space to bring multiple artists together in Salt Lake City this summer. Productions will take place in a variety of non-traditional venues: bars, residential bathrooms, art galleries, parked cars, in rooms just large enough for one audience member at a time, and on the sidewalks of downtown. Audiences will see Salt Lake City with new eyes.

- Accepting artist applications through March 1st.
- Tickets on sale April 1st.
- Festivities June 11th through 21st.
