Looking to unleash the power of the imagination, the Surrealists invented cadavre exquis, an artistic method tapping into the collective consciousness. Moving beyond paper to virtual reality, the exhibition gathers individual contributions from compelling artists of our time. Marina Abramović, Olafur Eliasson, Laurie Anderson, Antony Gormley and Paul McCarthy, among others, have leaped into a new form of expression, as an extension of their work. As we experience shared impulses and thoughts of all humankind, we glimpse bizarre and captivating worlds as seen through the lens of contemporary artists.
