This holiday season, East Coasters and West Coasters alike will experience a delightful, adult twist on the holiday classic The Nutcracker at The Immersive Nutcracker Cocktail Fête by Fever Originals. This fantastical pop-up event, featuring live actors, three themed cocktails, and holiday treats, is set to open December 12 in Los Angeles and December 19 in New York City, with tickets already available.
This isn’t your traditional trip to the ballet. Instead, a troupe of improv actors will use everything in the room, including members of the audience to bring the iconic story to life. Whether waltzing with the Sugar Plum Fairy or trying their hand at a fencing routine alongside the Nutcracker, each guest’s experience will be different. They will even be able to enhance their attire with gorgeous period costume pieces.
This irreverent 90-minute-long holiday show is part immersive theatre, part cabaret, and part boozy winter dream. In New York City, the experience will take place at the landmark American
Irish Historical Society’s beautiful Beaux Arts mansion. In Los Angeles, the show will take place in a former downtown storefront, fully transformed into a glamorous 19th century parlor.
