Zac Stuart-Pontier (Crimetown) and On Air Fest present an immersive listening experience through multiple rooms of this historic building. The festival will premiere The Con, an original, interactive audio crime story in four acts that will take festival-goers from the hotel’s Main Hall and Cinema Bar to a stairwell to a private guest suite. Created by Crimetown’s Zac Stuart-Pontier and On Air Fest founder Scott Newman, The Con stars Edgar Oliver, the downtown theater legend and beloved storyteller for The Moth, renowned for his distinctive accent and diction.
You will need a fully charged smartphone. For festival-goers without smartphones, they will have extra devices and headsets. Audience members will scan QR codes, which will activate audio for each act of the story.
You will need to purchase a festival or day pass in order to participate in The Con.
You can experience The Con anytime between 9–5 pm on March 6, 7, and 8.
