Announcing: Dinner at Boddy Mansion, a new virtual murder mystery dinner party. Creator Cortney Matz is bringing people together in quarantine by assigning characters to 10–14 guests and leading them through 90 minutes of storytelling, clues, misdirection, and meatloaf.
(Or whatever dinner they may have prepared.)
Loosely based on the concept of the Clue board game, guests assume the role of a suspect in a murder mystery. Gameplay depends on the process of elimination as guests discover the suspect, weapon and room in which the victim was killed. All before dessert.
It’s one part improv, one part scripted theater, and one part immersive gaming.
