LA: ‘Stranger Things’ Invites You To The ‘Drive-Into’
Netflix and Fever have teamed up with Secret Cinema to save Hawkins’ Halloween

The clock is ticking, and the countdown ends at noon on the 26th in Los Angeles. That’s when tickets go on sale for Stranger Things: The Drive-Into Experience, which looks to be a haunted attraction that people will enjoy from the safety of their cars.
How does it work? Will it be like the London Secret Cinema event (they’re tagged as part of the production along with series producer Netflix and experiential promoters Fever) but with people in cars? Do they take your keys so you don’t drive over scare actors? Will we get a preview of Season Four at the end?
No one is saying! But tickets are $59 per car (not bad if you’re splitting it with a sizable quaranteam), and they are stressing that it is “COVID-Safe,” which probably has to do with the whole “don’t get out of your car” thing. (How conditions are for performers is an unknown quantity at this time, but we’re asking them!)

In any case: there’s nothing more normal in LA than a mad dash for tickets for a Halloween event, so for that we are grateful for this little glimpse into what life is like when there isn’t a pandemic on.
