Hey there,

It’s been a minute, as we’re stretched thin by a surprisingly busy Spooky Season both on and off-line. We’ll get to THAT in a moment when we do the listings.

One thing we wanted to point out: we’ve revised the Code of Conduct in our Facebook, Slack, and Discord groups. This update clarifies and codifies the values by which we moderate our spaces.

And now, on with the shows… 36 listings this time.

This review season is filled with familiar faces, first up: Mister and Mischief creators of the beloved Escape From Godot, have an all new online interactive piece: OBJECTIVITY.

Then, something a little off track for us: a group review of the podcast adaptation of E3W’s equally beloved In Another Room series. For this one: two fans of the IRL show, and one horror fan who has never experienced the company’s live work.

News From around the Immersiverse

We’ve been down in it for two weeks, so this will by no means be exhaustive. There’s been a fair amount going on in the LA immersive community, as reflected in activity in the Everything Immersive group. (And some in the NYC community as well.) Dig through there for details, and look for an aggregation post soon, which we will link here once it is extant. Suffice it to say: there’s a reckoning going on.

In brighter news: the NYC immersive community is coming together for a fundraiser in the form of The Lost Halloween. Nothing makes us feel better than watching the community come together to take care of their own.

Indiecade announced its finalists, Vader Immortal’s dojo will be in arcades one day, and for some reason I agreed to let the Blair Witch into my house. Review as soon as I get the courage to open up the box. (Will there be a creepy totem? Will I be disappointed if there ISN’T?)

Alright… more next week. This was enough…
