The PXR Conference, hosted by Single Thread and Electric Company Theatre, celebrates the evolution of live performance in virtual, augmented and mixed realities. Now in its 3rd year, this national event brings Canadian creators together using a virtual reality platform to share best practices for working within these new media.
We are seeking proposals for this year’s Conference, which will include programming from October 29th — November 19th, 2022.
PXR’s inaugural performance stream: PXR Experience. We seek submissions from creative teams who have already developed a live XR performance work, and are ready to present to a national audience from October 29-November 11th, 2022.
This year’s Conference presentation series has evolved into PXR Engage. We want to hear about your creative vision for live XR productions, and how your specialization and expertise influences your creative approach in this medium.
