Tony Award-winning production company, Apples and Oranges Studios seeks a Production Stage Manager to join our team for the run of a new musical performed live in AltspaceVR. Previous stage management experience required. Familiarity with live production in virtual reality preferred but not as critical as a passion to learn. Rehearsals and performances run March 15 through April 30. Flat rate compensation: $500.

As part of the Sundance Institute’s continued commitment to supporting artists from underrepresented communities, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Uprise Grant Fund. Acknowledging the disproportionate effects the pandemic and racial terror have had on storytellers of color and other systematically marginalized groups, our goal is to provide financial support at key moments in an artist’s career by supporting their personal livelihoods and creative projects. This is a need-based artist-support grant where need will be partially determined by the response to the pandemic impact question. To apply, please submit a letter of inquiry (LOI) here. Finalists will later be invited to submit a complete application.

We are happy to announce the IDFA DocLab Open Call for Research & Development Proposals for 2021. Our goal is to discover and commission interactive and immersive non-fiction works that challenge traditional relations between art, audiences, and technology. Whereas our annual call for festival submissions (to be published in the upcoming weeks) is open to finished works only, this Open Call for R&D Proposals offers up to €10,000 support to realize a new work and premiere it at IDFA 2021. The call is open to experienced artists as well as new talent from around the world, and the application deadline is Friday, March 26.
