Under the administrative direction of the Founding Director, the Program Manager coordinates and directs the activities and functions of the Program for Narrative and Emerging Media (PNEM) — a best-in-class research, teaching and gathering venue, with a focus on diversifying the demographics of who gets to create and distribute narratives using emerging media technologies in the areas of arts, culture and nonfiction. The Program Manager independently ensures that the goals and objectives of PNEM are accomplished in accordance with priorities, time limitations and funding limitations, to create a center of excellence, bring together pioneers from diverse communities, push underrepresented narrative in technology, and use innovative techniques for practice and policy, all strongly anchored in ASU’s larger purpose of inclusion.
This position is part-time 20 hours per week with a possibility of transitioning to full-time by the end of the year.

We’re looking for a Design Intern to join the Camera Platform, Augmented Reality team! Snap’s Augmented Reality team invents the immersive (and fun!) camera experiences that are at the core of our products. From developing creative new Lens features for Snapchat, to supporting the continuous growth and evolution of Lens Studio (our AR authoring tool used by an ever-increasing community of AR developers), to designing the cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning technology that makes face transformation Lenses possible — our Augmented Reality team is working hard on their mission to bring AR to more people, places, and moments, every day.
As a Product Design intern, you will be a core part of a small team that develops new features for the Lens Studio and Snapchat application (Augmented Reality experience), from proposing initial concepts to ensuring we ship features at a high quality. In short, you’ll be responsible for making the products that millions of people use every day. You will be expected to contribute to all aspects of product design and execution, including pitching the product, designing the product (visual design, interaction design, and prototyping), and communicating the product to the necessary audiences within the company.

For our 6 awards, we are looking for interactive performances, installations, alternative controllers, theater and of course amazing games — fully finished works, demos, experiments or prototypes are welcome!💪
Early bird is 35€ until Feb 13th, 50€ afterwards, but you can also submit for free via our supporter tickets. Besides the colorful online and virtual program starting on May 13, the award show will be on May 17 live from Berlin with a day of in-person celebration of (arthouse) games and playful media.

The New Original Works Festival is a three-week interdisciplinary program offering a variety of short works and some longer projects in their Los Angeles premieres. The Festival will take place on the REDCAT stage in Summer 2022 and artists are given development support through rehearsal space, technical assistance, access to equipment and an honorarium. Projects are selected through a proposal process, with an emphasis on new projects in development and/or early career artists.
