GRANTS
ONLINE
Black Immersive Creators Grant
Platform: Artizen
Compensation & Benefits: $8500 grant
Deadline: Feb 28, 2022
LINK
The Black Immersive Creators Grant is a new initiative founded by leaders in the experiential space. This is an annual grant in the amount of $10,000. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate the creation of immersive work by Black-identifying creators, which would otherwise not be created without the funding offered by this grant. This funding may be used either directly toward the creation of the immersive work(s) or indirectly by offsetting unrelated costs of the creator that would impair the freedom and comfort of practicing their creativity and art.
The recipients of this grant will be Black-identifying creators who demonstrate a passion for creating immersive work. Whether they have an existing portfolio or not, create only immersive work or create this art in addition to other work and life priorities, our hope is that this grant will aid the cultivation and growth of inspired immersive art by Black creators to broaden and encourage diversity in the industry.
