We are seeking an ambitious Director of Special Events and Partnerships with 4+ years of experience to lead the sales and production of all special events hosted within the House of X venue, as well as in our other locations as requested. The Director of Special events will be responsible for all aspects of special event execution, from the development of competitive and creative event packages, to event program development and operations management, to financial forecasting and budget management.They will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high-level clientele, industry contacts and luxury brands to secure sponsorships and partnerships that can be leveraged for private events and general venue activations and programming. This is a highly collaborative role as The Director of Special Events and Partnerships will work cross-functionally with the entire House of X team to bring these bespoke events to life. It also requires someone who is highly organized and obsessively detail-oriented, adept at overseeing simultaneous special events while maintaining high levels of positivity and professionalism.

Five game makers will have a five-week residency @ the cell theatre with access to studio space and an artist’s stipend. They will build prototypes of games, to be playable live @ the cell at the completion of the residency.

Each artist will receive a $599 stipend and may access $401 to be reimbursed for materials and professional services.
