Call Sheet (10/4/2021)
Let’s scare you up a new gig, shall we?

Welcome to the return of our ever-evolving CALL SHEET, our recurring roundup of gigs, grants, deadlines, and other professional opportunities in the realms of physical and digital immersive. (Note: we publish the CS on MONDAYS when we have at least three listings to share!)
LISTING DEADLINE: Every Thursday at 5PM Pacific Time — callsheet@noproscenium.com and/or the callsheet and jobs-board channels on our Discord.
Note: while we are happy to receive the full text of a job listing for reference, we only publish summaries with links to full job listings/casting breakdowns. To be considered your listing must be published somewhere else online.
Calls for festival entries, however, are eligible for being published on our newswire. Use the callsheet email, above. (Educational workshops should follow the process for event listings at Everything Immersive.)
Check out previous editions for more listings, scan some of the sites we use to draw selections from below or join our Discord and follow the callsheet and jobs board categories on the Bulletin Board.

We’re looking for many but not necessarily all of these qualities:
- you possess the desire and skill to perform in an immersive show
- your home / work / social life is structured in such a way that performing in J train Bushwick is a reasonable commute
- you are generally reliable with showing up, being on time, and responding to emails and texts
- you can sing along on pitch with a track (though one of the roles does not require singing)
- you have an availability that would allow 2 or 3 performances per week. Or, if you want to make BOTO pay your rent and gobble up shifts, also cool!
- you must be fully vaccinated (our show checks the vax records and IDs of every guest that enters)
JOBS (Production)
NEW YORK CITY
Bottom of the Ocean — Crew
Houseworld
Term: Fall/Winter 2021
Compensation & Benefits: $15 / hour
Deadline: Not listed
LINK
The job is assembling and disassembling the many props and sets and laundering the costumes of the same show, BOTO.
The job will pay the minimum wage of $15 / hour, which isn’t great in terms of jobs, but is not so shabby when it comes to artistic gigs. These are tasks that I perform currently, and they will give the doer a thorough and authentic understanding of so many of the nuts and bolts of an immersive theater production.
If the job applicant has these qualities, they will help, but we might still be able to get the job done without them:
- Applicant lives in or near J-train Bushwick. If the applicant lives in Bed Stuy or L train Bushwick and likes to bike, that also works
- Applicant feels comfortable lifting heavy-ish, voluminous items without assistance, like an empty bed frame and a gong stand
